QIL is an educational computer program that provides interactive exercises in constructing qualitative influence lines for determinate beams. The program is intended primarily for undergraduate engineering students taking courses in structural analysis, although it is also suitable for independent study or review. The purpose of this program is to teach how to construct influence lines for reactions, shears, and moments for statically determinate beams.
