Design Project 4: Level Measurement Device in a Prototype
Water Tank
Project Description:
The goal of this project is to measure the level of the water inside the tank and displays the result into the computer as follows:
The height of the water in the tank is: 50cms
Requirements:
- A level measurement sensor (i.e. conductance sensor). You can also use other types of sensors, if this will help to provide an easier design.
- Max 232 IC to provide a serial interface between the computer and the microcontroller.
- An LCD to display the actual height of the water in the tank.
- PIC18 microcontroller to calculate the distance
