Web Applications Security Engineer
Education
Must have a BS degree in Computers with minimum three years experience as Systems Security Engineer. Certification in Information Security will be an advantage.
Qualifications
§ Experience with network design and implementation.
§ Hands on experience with TCP/IP suite.
§ Experience in using security-related tools such as: web-application hacking tools, network management tools, probing tools, etc.
§ Experience with secure telecommunications. (Data)
§ In depth knowledge of web application development methodologies, tools, and environment
§ In depth knowledge of .Net environment
§ Experience in operating firewalls, IDS, IPS, and AAA servers.
§ Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
§ Participate in designing and testing applications to ensure that applications developed are secure.
§ Manages information security devices or software which includes: operating, monitoring, implementing upgrades and patches, configuring, and replacements of these devices and software.
§ Implement the security incident handling procedure when appropriate.
§ Provide reports on security issues to management as directed.
§ Participates in developing organization information security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
§ Applies organization information security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
§ Monitors compliance to organization information security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
§ Participates in creating and developing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
§ Provides technical guidance and training to IT staff, and regular users regarding information security issues.
§ Participate in designing and implementing programs for user awareness, compliance monitoring, and security compliance.
§ Confers with management to identify and plan for security for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations.
§ Works with management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.
