Aeronautical Engineering

Aeronautical engineering is a branch of aerospace engineering and encompasses aircraft design, construction and testing of aircraft, missiles and spacecrafts. Aeronautical engineering uses the science of propulsion and aerodynamics.

An aeronautical engineer is involved in design, manufacture, testing and engineering. S/he updates components, and ensures that all documents concerning regulator y compliance are in place. However, it is licensed aircraft maintenance engineers and not aeronautical engineers who are authorized to inspect, maintain and certify aircraft.[/color][/size][/font]
