SolidWorks Mechatronics Course

Course Description
SolidWorks Mechatronics is a hybrid combination of SolidWorks design validation tools
(SolidWorks Motion and SolidWorks Simulation) and numerical control software such as NI LabVIEW and NI SoftMotion
(National instruments) or Motion Analyzer and Kinetix (Rocwell Automation). This combination comes in a powerful
and integrated form to bridge the gap between mechanical design and electrical and electronic design,
and bring satisfying outputs with high performance and for machine design optimization or robotics virtual simulation.

Course Objective
Make the student familiar with SolidWorks Motion (Rigid Body dynamics) and SolidWorks Simulation
(Finite Element Analysis) basics and concepts.
Introduce the combination and integration between SolidWorks motion and SolidWorks Simulation.
Direct Kinematics and inverse kinematicsanalysis for robots.
